Phaldut Sharma, also known as Paul Sharma, is an English actor and dancer. He is widely recognized for his roles as Achmed in the popular TV series Gavin & Stacey and AJ Ahmed in EastEnders. Sharma has appeared in various other television shows, including Casualty, Roger Roger, Life on Mars, and Doctors. He made his debut in the comedy series The Office as Sanj and portrayed Harish Dhillon in an episode of Spooks. In 2012, Sharma joined the cast of EastEnders as AJ, the brother of Masood Ahmed. He left the soap opera in 2014. Additionally, Sharma has released a web comedy series called I Gotta Be Me, where he plays the character Paul Shah.
