Pip Torrens Biography
Philip D'Oyly 'Pip' Torrens (born 2 June 1960) is an English actor known for his versatile roles in film and television. He has appeared in several notable TV series, including portraying courtier Tommy Lascelles in the Netflix drama The Crown and aristocrat Lord Massen in the HBO series The Nevers. Torrens has also held leading roles in Poldark and Versailles. His film credits include The Danish Girl, The Iron Lady, War Horse, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In addition to his on-screen work, Torrens has lent his talents to the world of video games, playing The Curator in Supermassive Games' Dark Pictures Anthology series. Born in Bromley, Kent, Torrens was educated at Bloxham School and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied English Literature before pursuing acting at Drama Studio London.
