Qurrat Ann Kadwani

Qurrat Ann Kadwani, born on May 10, 1981, is an American television actress, playwright, and film producer of Indian descent. Raised in New York, she grew up in The Bronx and graduated from the Bronx High School of Science. Kadwani received a double scholarship for theater at State University of New York at Geneseo. She is recognized as the first South Asian woman in a solo act play Off-Broadway. Kadwani co-wrote, starred in, and produced The Fifth of November in 2018. She is known for her performances in They Call Me Q, Intrusion, and The Fifth of November, where she portrayed various characters including her parents, friends, teachers, and classmates. They Call Me Q premiered at the Chicago Fringe Festival and was performed at several other venues including St. Luke's Theatre and University of Minnesota Crookston.
