Rain Valdez Biography
Rain Valdez (born 1981) is an American actress, writer, and producer known for her work in film and television. She gained recognition for her award-winning short film, Ryans, and her notable role in the web series Razor Tongue, which she also created. Valdez received critical acclaim for her performance and earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series. She has appeared in TV Land's Lopez as Coco and had a role in Transparent's fourth season, where she also worked as a consultant. Valdez has showcased her writing skills through contributions to Vice and Popsugar. Originally from Manila, Philippines, Valdez grew up in Dededo, Guam, and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting after working as a producer's assistant. Her passion for storytelling started early, as she began writing poems and short stories during her junior high school years.
