Raymond Toro, born on July 15, 1977, is an American musician known for his role as lead guitarist and backing vocalist in the band My Chemical Romance. Hailing from Kearny, New Jersey, Toro is of Puerto Rican-Portuguese heritage. Growing up, he developed a passion for music and was influenced by various guitarists. Toro started playing in local bands, including The Rodneys, alongside future My Chemical Romance drummer Matt Pelissier. After graduating from high school, Toro briefly pursued film before returning to music. With his exceptional guitar skills and vocal talents, Toro has contributed significantly to the success of My Chemical Romance.
