Raymond Andrew Winstone (born 19 February 1957) is an English television, stage, and film actor with a career spanning five decades. Known for his distinctive London accent, Winstone has gained recognition for his 'hard man' roles. He received a BAFTA Award for Best Newcomer nomination for his role in That Summer! (1979) and a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination for Nil by Mouth (1997).
