Ray Winstone

Raymond Andrew Winstone (born 19 February 1957) is an English television, stage, and film actor with a career spanning five decades. Known for his distinctive London accent, Winstone has gained recognition for his 'hard man' roles. He received a BAFTA Award for Best Newcomer nomination for his role in That Summer! (1979) and a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination for Nil by Mouth (1997). Winstone has worked with renowned directors such as Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, and has appeared in notable films like Scum (1979), Quadrophenia (1979), Sexy Beast (2000), The Departed (2006), and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). He rose to prominence as Will Scarlet in Robin of Sherwood (1984-1986).
