Reggie White (December 19, 1961 – December 26, 2004) was an American professional football defensive end. He played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. White played college football for the University of Tennessee and achieved unanimous All-American status. He began his professional career with the Memphis Showboats in the United States Football League (USFL) before being selected in the first round of the 1984 Supplemental Draft. White went on to play for the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, and Carolina Panthers in the NFL. Known for his defensive prowess, White was a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, a Super Bowl champion, and a 13-time Pro Bowl selection. He holds second place in career sacks with 198, behind Bruce Smith. White has been honored as part of various NFL All-Time Teams, including the NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team, NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team, and the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team.
