Richard Bremmer Biography
Richard Bremmer (born January 27, 1953) is an English actor known for his work in film and theatre. Born and raised in Warwickshire, Bremmer began his career with a short film called Couples and Robbers before making his debut in the full-length film, The Girl with Brains in Her Feet. He gained recognition for being the first actor to portray the character Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, appearing in a flashback sequence. Bremmer's face is never seen in the film, as the character is later portrayed using CGI and voiced by Ian Hart. He has also appeared in films such as The 13th Warrior and Viper in the Fist. Bremmer has an extensive stage career, including performances in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Julius Caesar, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and King Lear.
