Ricky Gervais

Ricky Dene Gervais (born 25 June 1961) is an English comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director. He is best known for co-creating, co-writing, and acting in the British sitcoms The Office, Extras, An Idiot Abroad, and Life's Too Short. Gervais also created, wrote, and starred in Derek and After Life. Throughout his career, he has won numerous awards, including seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and the Rose d'Or twice. Gervais has been recognized as one of the funniest performers in British comedy and was listed in the Time 100 list of World's Most Influential People.
