Enrique "Ricky" Martín Morales, born on December 24, 1971, is a Puerto Rican singer and actor. Martin gained recognition in Latin America as a member of the boy band Menudo. He started his solo career in 1991 and achieved international success with his albums Ricky Martin (1991) and Me Amaras (1993). Martin's third album, A Medio Vivir (1995), propelled him to fame in European countries. The chart-topping single "María" became his first international hit. His fourth album, Vuelve (1998), further solidified his international success. Martin has released numerous albums since then, incorporating various musical genres like Latin pop, dance, reggaeton, and salsa.
