Rob Delaney

Rob Delaney (born January 19, 1977) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and activist. He gained popularity as a co-star and co-writer of the TV show Catastrophe and has appeared in comedy films such as Deadpool 2 (2018) and Tom & Jerry (2021). Delaney was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in Marblehead. He attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with a degree in musical theater in 1999. Delaney rose to fame through his witty and humorous posts on Twitter, amassing over 1.2 million followers by 2016. He is credited as one of the first comedians to utilize social media to share jokes and credited Irish comedy writer Graham Linehan for contributing to his popularity.
