Robert Emms Biography
Robert Emms (born Robert James MacPherson; 20 May 1986) is a British film, stage and television actor. He is best known for his roles as Pythagoras in the BBC One series Atlantis and Leonid Toptunov in the HBO miniseries Chernobyl. Emms was born in Horley, Surrey, England and attended Oakwood School. He studied at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology and later at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Emms gained recognition for his lead role as Albert in the National Theatre's production of War Horse. He also appeared in Steven Spielberg's film adaptation of the play. Emms has had other notable film roles, including Kick-Ass 2 and Broken.
