Ron Cephas Jones Biography
Ron Cephas Jones (January 8, 1957 – August 19, 2023) was an American actor known for his role as William Hill in the drama series This Is Us (2016–2022). He received a Screen Actors Guild Award and four Primetime Emmy Award nominations, winning twice for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. Jones appeared in TV series like Mr. Robot, The Get Down, Luke Cage, and Truth Be Told. His film credits include Half Nelson, Across the Universe, Glass Chin, The Holiday Calendar, Dog Days, and Dolemite Is My Name. In 2022, he received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the Broadway play Clyde's. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Jones graduated from Ramapo College after attending John F. Kennedy High School.
