Rudi Dharmalingam (born c. 1981) is an English actor known for his work on stage and screen. He was born in Maidstone, Kent and began his acting career after joining the National Youth Theatre in 1998. In 2002, he earned a BA in performing arts from the University of Salford. Dharmalingam has appeared in various television shows, including a notable role as Tariq Mistry in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks (2010), James Cutler in the BBC One legal drama The Split (2018–2022), and Nik Katira in the Australian psychological mystery Wakefield (2021). He has also performed in numerous theatre productions, such as Broadway's The History Boys (2006) and West End's Hamlet (2015). Additionally, Dharmalingam has made minor appearances in TV series like The Bill, New Tricks, Coronation Street, Casualty, Doctor Who, Rellik, Electric Dreams, and Our Girl.
