Sam Farrar

Sam Farrar (born June 29, 1978) is an American musician best known for his work as a member of the pop band Maroon 5. He plays multiple instruments, primarily bass guitar, and has been a frequent collaborator with the band since the 1990s. Farrar joined Maroon 5 as a touring member in 2012 and was promoted to an official member in 2016. He is also the bassist for the rock band Phantom Planet, which he has been a part of since their formation in 1994. Additionally, Farrar has contributed to other musical projects, including the band Operation Aloha and his own project with his wife called Bubble and Strife.
