Samantha Bee

Samantha Anne Bee is a Canadian-American comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actress, and television host. She gained recognition as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and held the position for 12 years, becoming the longest-serving regular correspondent. In 2015, Bee left The Daily Show to launch her own show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2017. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Bee was raised by her grandmother after her parents separated. She started her career at the Catholic school she attended on Roncesvalles Avenue.
