Samora Smallwood

Samora Smallwood is a Canadian actress and writer known for her work in film and television. She gained recognition for her performance in the Lifetime television film Death She Wrote, which earned her the Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress in a television film or miniseries in 2022. In addition to her acting career, Smallwood is also a founder of The Actors Work Studio in Toronto. Her notable television appearances include guest roles in Designated Survivor, The Expanse, Star Trek: Discovery, and Murdoch Mysteries. She has also had recurring roles in the Hallmark Channel series Good Witch and the Oprah Winfrey Network soap opera The Kings of Napa.
