Sarah Allen

Sarah Allen is a Canadian actress who studied acting at the National Theatre School of Canada, graduating in 2002. She gained recognition for her role as vampire Rebecca Flynt on SyFy's Being Human. Allen prepared for the role by watching the original BBC version of the series and researching vampire mythology. Her character, Rebecca, begins the series with a guarded and angry demeanor but strives to be good despite constant failures. Allen described Rebecca's attempts to change Bernie, a young boy, into a vampire as being motivated by good intentions and a desire to care for someone. She also mentioned her character's ongoing struggle to be involved in Aidan's life, often resulting in mistakes.
