Sasha Cohen

Sasha Cohen, born Alexandra Pauline Cohen on October 26, 1984, is a retired American figure skater known for her exceptional artistry, flexibility, and body lines. She achieved great success in her career, winning the silver medal at the 2006 Olympics, three World Championship medals, and becoming the 2003 Grand Prix Final Champion and the 2006 U.S. Champion. Cohen holds the distinction of being the most recent American woman to individually medal in figure skating at the Olympics. Born in Westwood, California, Sasha's mother is a Jewish immigrant from Odesa, Ukraine, and her father is a graduate of UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law. She has a younger sister named Natalia.
