Scott Bakula Biography
Scott Bakula is an American actor known for his roles in two popular science-fiction television series. He portrayed Sam Beckett on Quantum Leap, earning Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award. Bakula also played Captain Jonathan Archer on Star Trek: Enterprise. He later starred as Special Agent Dwayne Cassius 'King' Pride on NCIS: New Orleans from 2014 to 2021. In addition to his television work, Bakula has been nominated for a Tony Award for his performances on Broadway. He appeared in the comedy-drama series Men of a Certain Age and guest-starred on NBC's Chuck. Bakula was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and comes from Czech and Slovak ancestry.
