Scott Devendorf Biography
Scott Devendorf is an American multi-instrumentalist known for his role as the bass guitarist in the indie rock band The National. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he grew up alongside his brother and fellow band member, Bryan Devendorf. Before his musical career, Devendorf worked as a graphic designer. In addition to his work with The National, he is a member of the indie rock project LNZNDRF, which also includes his brother Bryan and Ben Lanz of Beirut. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2016. Devendorf has also collaborated with Bob Weir, performing alongside him in 2012. With The National, he has contributed to eight studio albums.
