    Scott Michael Foster is an American actor, born on March 4, 1985, in Winfield, Illinois. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Captain John Paul 'Cappie' Jones in the ABC Family series Greek (2007–11). Foster also appeared as Leo Hendrie in Chasing Life (2014–15) and as Nathaniel Plimpton III in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2017–19). Additionally, he had recurring roles in shows such as Californication (2012), Halt and Catch Fire (2014), Once Upon a Time (2014), and You (2021). Foster's interest in acting started during his time at Edward S. Marcus High School in Texas. He briefly attended Collin College before pursuing a professional acting career. In addition to acting, Foster is a talented musician, playing guitar and serving as the lead singer of an indie rock band.
