Sean Brian Gilder (born 1 March 1964) is an English stage, film, and screen actor, as well as a playwright. He gained recognition for his role as Paddy Maguire on the television show Shameless from 2005 to 2010, and as Styles in the series Hornblower. Gilder has appeared in various productions including Doctor Who, New Tricks, Gangs of New York, King Arthur, and Mike Bassett: England Manager. He also provided the voice for Henry Marlow in the video game Alien: Isolation and its animated miniseries adaptation in 2019. Gilder appeared as Noel, the twin brother of his character on Shameless, played by Neil Grades, an anagram of his own name. He has also performed in stage productions like The Duchess of Malfi alongside Gemma Arterton.
