Sean Pertwee Biography
Sean Carl Roland Pertwee is an English actor, narrator, and producer known for his extensive career in television and cinema since the 1980s. Born on June 4, 1964, in Hammersmith, London, Pertwee is the son of actor Jon Pertwee and his second wife Ingeborg Rhoesa. His grandfather is playwright and screenwriter Roland Pertwee, and his cousin is actor Bill Pertwee. He attended Teddington Boys' School and Sunbury College before training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Pertwee has appeared in various films, including Dog Soldiers and Event Horizon, and has had notable roles in TV shows such as Elementary and Gotham, where he portrayed Alfred Pennyworth. He is also the narrator of MasterChef: The Professionals and Zero Hour.
