Shalita Grant is an American actress known for her role as NCIS Special Agent Sonja Percy on NCIS: New Orleans. Born on August 28, 1988, in Petersburg, Virginia, she attended the Appomattox Regional Governor's School for the Arts and Technology before transferring to the Baltimore School for the Arts. Grant was a YoungArts Winner in Theater and Presidential Scholar in the Arts. She later received a scholarship to attend the Juilliard School, graduating in 2010 with a B.F.A. in Drama. Grant has also appeared in TV shows such as Mercy Street, You, Santa Clarita Diet, and Search Party. She has also showcased her talent in theater productions at The Public Theater, including Measure for Measure, The Winter's Tale, and The Merchant of Venice.
