Shep Gordon

Shep E. Gordon (born October 18, 1945) is an American talent manager, Hollywood film agent, and producer. He gained recognition for his work as the manager of the band Alice Cooper in 1968. Gordon went on to represent numerous other artists in the entertainment industry, including Anne Murray, Blondie, Teddy Pendergrass, Luther Vandross, and Gipsy Kings, among others. He was featured in the 2013 documentary 'Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon', directed by Mike Myers. Born in Jackson Heights, Queens, Gordon obtained his B.A. in sociology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and later attended The New School for Social Research. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
