Simbi Khali

Simbi Khali (born April 28, 1971) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Nina Campbell on the NBC sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun. Khali has also appeared in the television show Martin and the feature films Vampire in Brooklyn, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, and Plump Fiction. In addition to her on-screen work, Khali has had a successful career in voice acting, voicing characters in video games such as Guild Wars Nightfall and Detroit: Become Human. Khali developed an interest in theater at Chicago's ETA Creative Arts Foundation and began singing at a young age. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi and grew up in Chicago's South Side.
