Simon Woods Biography
Simon Woods (born 7 January 1980) is an English actor and playwright. He is best known for his role as Octavian in Season 2 of the British-American television series Rome and as Charles Bingley in the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice. Woods attended Eton College and later studied English at Magdalen College, Oxford. He briefly worked at The Guardian before pursuing a career in acting. In addition to his screen work, Woods has also written a stage play called Hansard, which was presented at the Lyttelton Theatre in London in September 2019. Woods is married to Christopher Bailey, the former chief executive of Burberry, and they have two daughters, Iris and Nell.
