Sonya Cassidy

Sonya Cassidy (born 1987) is a British actress known for her roles in various television shows and films. She graduated from RADA in 2008 and has since appeared in numerous productions. Cassidy's notable TV credits include The Tudors (2009), The Paradise (2012), Vera (2012–2014), The Great Fire (2014), Olympus (2015), Humans (2016), The Woman in White (2018), Lodge 49 (2019), and The Last Kingdom (2022). She also appeared in the films Survivor (2015) and The Hunt For Raoul Moat (2023). Cassidy gained recognition for her portrayal of Clara in The Paradise, Celine Ashworth in Vera, the Oracle in Olympus, and Hester in Humans. In 2022, she starred in the television adaptation of the Walter Tevis novel, The Man Who Fell to Earth.
