Sorcha Groundsell

Sorcha Groundsell (born February 15, 1998) is a Scottish actress known for her roles in The Innocents (2018) and Far From the Apple Tree (2018). She was born in Bristol, England and grew up in Ness on the Isle of Lewis. Groundsell attended the Glasgow Gaelic School and took drama classes at the Citizens Theatre and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She made her feature film and stage debuts in 2015 and received an RTS Award nomination for her role in Sleeping Lions. Groundsell also starred in the true crime miniseries In Plain Sight. With a passion for acting, she left school at 16 and moved to London at 18 to pursue her career.
