Stephen Tobolowsky

Stephen Harold Tobolowsky (born May 30, 1951) is an American character actor known for his roles in film and television. He has appeared in popular movies such as Groundhog Day and Memento, portraying memorable characters like insurance agent Ned Ryerson and amnesiac Sammy Jankis. On television, Tobolowsky has played various characters including Commissioner Hugo Jarry in Deadwood, Bob Bishop in Heroes, and Sandy Ryerson in Glee. He has also demonstrated his acting talents in shows like Silicon Valley, One Day at a Time, The Goldbergs, and The Mindy Project. Tobolowsky is the host of the monthly audio podcast, The Tobolowsky Files, where he shares autobiographical stories. He has authored three books: The Dangerous Animals Club, Cautionary Tales, and My Adventures With God.
