Steve Carell

Steve Carell is an American actor and comedian. Born on August 16, 1962, he gained recognition as a cast member on The Dana Carvey Show in 1996 and as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 1999 to 2005. He is best known for his role as Michael Scott in the NBC sitcom The Office, for which he also worked as a producer, writer, and director. Carell has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy. He has also starred in a number of successful comedy films, such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and the Despicable Me franchise.
