Stone Gossard Biography
Stone Carpenter Gossard (born July 20, 1966) is an American musician known for his work as a guitarist and songwriter in the rock band Pearl Jam. He is one of the founding members of the band along with Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, and Eddie Vedder. Prior to Pearl Jam, Gossard was involved with the grunge bands Green River and Mother Love Bone. He was also a member of the bands Temple of the Dog and Brad. In addition to his performing career, Gossard has worked as a producer and owns a record label and recording studio. He has released two solo albums, Bayleaf in 2001 and Moonlander in 2013. Gossard was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Pearl Jam in 2017.
