Struan Rodger Biography
Struan Rodger (born 18 September 1946) is a British actor known for his wide range of supporting roles. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Sandy McGrath, Eric Liddell's friend and running coach, in the Oscar-winning film Chariots of Fire (1981). Rodger has appeared in numerous films including Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), The Madness of King George (1994), and Stardust (2007). On television, he is well-known for his role as Barbara Flynn's husband in the detective series Chandler & Co and as Detective Inspector Brush in Rumpole of the Bailey. Rodger also provided the voice for the Doctor Who character Face of Boe in several episodes.
