Stuart Townsend Biography
Stuart Townsend is an Irish actor, born on December 15, 1972. He gained recognition for his roles in various films, including Queen of the Damned (2002) and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003). Townsend also directed the film Battle in Seattle (2007). He was born in Howth, County Dublin to Lorna Hogan, an Irish model, and Peter Townsend, an English professional golfer. Townsend attended the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin and made his non-professional stage debut in 1993. He later made his professional stage debut in True Lines in 1994. Townsend's early film career included roles in Irish short films before landing a role in the feature film Trojan Eddie (1996).
