Susan Victoria Lucci (born December 23, 1946) is an American actress, television host, author, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her portrayal of Erica Kane on the ABC daytime drama All My Children, which she played for the show's entire network run from 1970 to 2011. Lucci's character, Erica Kane, is considered an icon in the industry. She has been nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series 21 times, winning once in 1999. Lucci has also appeared in other TV series, as well as in occasional films and stage productions. Some of her notable guest appearances include Dallas and Hot in Cleveland.
