    Takaya Kuroda (黒田崇矢) is a Japanese actor and voice actor known for his deep bass voice. He has been affiliated with Axlone, Mausu Promotion, and 81 Produce. Kuroda has gained recognition for his portrayal of villainous characters, such as Yaiba in GoGo Sentai Boukenger. Western audiences may recognize him as the voice of Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the Like a Dragon series. He was selected to replace the late Hirotaka Suzuoki as the voice of Starscream in Transformers: Cybertron due to his vocal resemblance. In addition to his acting career, Kuroda is the lead singer of the rock band Takaya Kuroda & Goodfellas.
