Tijuana Ricks

Tijuana Ricks is an American actress born in Metairie, Louisiana. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in psychology and performing arts, she furthered her education at the Yale School of Drama, earning an MFA in acting. Ricks has had recurring roles on various TV shows, including Billions as Tonelle “T” Burton, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist as reporter Thembi Wallace, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Dr. Marnie Aiken, OB/GYN, and Law and Order as Sgt. Royce. She also appeared in the film The Savages alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney. Onstage, she originated the role of Cora Lee in the musical adaptation of The Women of Brewster Place and made her Broadway debut in A Time to Kill as a court reporter named Norma.
