Tim Griffin

Tim Griffin is an American lawyer and politician. He was born on August 21, 1968, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and grew up in Magnolia, Arkansas. He graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, and Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Griffin has held various political positions, including serving as the 20th lieutenant governor of Arkansas from 2015 to 2023 and as the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas from 2006 to 2007. He also served as the U.S. Representative for AR's 2nd congressional district from 2011 to 2015. Griffin ran for the Arkansas gubernatorial election in 2022 but withdrew to run for Arkansas Attorney General instead.
