Tim Preece (born 5 August 1938) is an English actor known for his appearances on British television and stage. He was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and received his education at the Priory Grammar School for Boys. Preece trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic. His notable television roles include Codal in the Doctor Who serial 'Planet of the Daleks' (1973), Tom Patterson in 'The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin' (1976–77), and Rev. Sparrow in 'Waiting for God' (1992–94). Preece has also made appearances in other shows like 'People Like Us' (2001) and 'Casualty' (1992). He has enjoyed a successful career both on screen and stage.
