Timothy Busfield Biography
Timothy Busfield (born June 12, 1957) is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role as Elliot Weston on the television series thirtysomething, as well as for portraying Mark, the brother-in-law of Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) in Field of Dreams, and Danny Concannon on the television series The West Wing. In 1991, he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in thirtysomething. Busfield is also the founder of the 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization Theatre for Children, Inc. Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, Busfield began his acting career in children's theater and went on to study drama at East Tennessee State University.
