Tituss Burgess is an American actor and singer, born on February 21, 1979. He is known for his high tenor voice and has appeared in numerous Broadway musicals. Burgess gained recognition for his role as Titus Andromedon on the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, receiving five Primetime Emmy Award nominations. On Broadway, he originated the roles of Sebastian in The Little Mermaid and Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the revival of Guys and Dolls. Burgess, who hails from Athens, Georgia, attended Cedar Shoals High School and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Art degree in music. He will be playing the role of Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! from October to December 2023.
