Tom Booker Biography
Tom Booker is an American actor, writer, director, and improvisational comedian. He is best known for his role as Keel Lorenz in Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, its sequel The End of Evangelion, and the Amazon redub of Rebuild of Evangelion. Booker is also the owner of The Institution Theater in Austin, Texas. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he graduated from Nathan Hale High School and later became the University of Oklahoma's mascot. After studying improvisation at The Second City Training Center and with improv guru Del Close at ImprovOlympic in Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles and formed Theater-A-Go-Go! with Laura Hall. Booker made his television debut in 1994 and his movie debut in 1995's Jury Duty.
