Tom Bower

Tom Bower (born September 28, 1946) is a British writer, former BBC journalist, and television producer. Known for his investigative journalism, Bower has gained recognition for his unauthorized biographies, particularly of business tycoons and newspaper proprietors. His notable works include unauthorized biographies of Robert Maxwell, Mohamed Al-Fayed, Conrad Black, Richard Branson, Jeremy Corbyn, and Boris Johnson. Bower's book, 'Broken Dreams: Vanity, Greed and the Souring of British Football,' was awarded the 2003 William Hill Sports Book of the Year. Born in London to Jewish refugee parents who fled Prague after the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, Bower has made significant contributions to the field of journalism and literary non-fiction.
