Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans is a 2009 American black comedy crime drama film directed by Werner Herzog. The story follows Terence McDonagh, a New Orleans police sergeant who becomes addicted to prescription pain medication after injuring his back during Hurricane Katrina. He becomes entangled with a drug dealer suspected of a heinous crime.
