Tom Colicchio is an American celebrity chef and restaurateur, born on August 15, 1962, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He co-founded and served as the executive chef of the renowned Gramercy Tavern in New York City. Colicchio is the founder of Crafted Hospitality, which includes several highly acclaimed restaurants such as Craft in NYC and Los Angeles, Temple Court in NYC, Craftsteak in MGM Grand Las Vegas, and Small Batch in Long Island. He has received five James Beard Foundation Awards for his culinary accomplishments. Colicchio is widely recognized as the head judge on Bravo's reality TV show Top Chef, where he has appeared in every season. He has also executive produced and appeared as a featured chef on Great Chefs shows.
