Tom Cullen Biography
Tom Cullen (born July 17, 1985) is a Welsh actor and director known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for his performance as Anthony Foyle in the independent film Weekend (2011). Cullen also portrayed Viscount Gillingham in the popular television series Downton Abbey and Sir Landry in the historical drama Knightfall. Additionally, he appeared as Thomas Seymour in the historical drama Becoming Elizabeth. Born in Aberystwyth, Cullen grew up in Llandrindod Wells and later moved to Cardiff. He attended Llanishen High School before pursuing an acting career. Cullen graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and also studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
