Born on September 30, 1970, Tony Hale is an American actor and comedian. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Buster Bluth in the Fox comedy series Arrested Development. From 2012 to 2019, he played Gary Walsh in the HBO comedy Veep, earning two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Hale has appeared in various films, including The Informant! (2009), In My Sleep (2010), The Heat (2013), Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip (2015), Clifford the Big Red Dog (2021), and Hocus Pocus 2 (2022). He has also lent his voice to films such as The Tale of Despereaux (2008), The Angry Birds Movie (2016), The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019), and Toy Story 4 (2019) as Forky. Hale is the creator of the Netflix and Peacock series Archibald's Next Big Thing and provides the voice for the titular character.
