Tracey Ullman (born Trace Ullman; 30 December 1959) is a British-American actress, comedian, singer, writer, producer, and director. She gained recognition through her appearances on British television sketch comedy shows A Kick Up the Eighties and Three of a Kind. Ullman then moved to the United States and starred in her own network television comedy series, The Tracey Ullman Show, from 1987 to 1990. This show also introduced the long-running animated franchise The Simpsons. Ullman has produced and starred in several successful programs, including Tracey Takes On... and Tracey Ullman's State of the Union. She has also appeared in numerous feature films.
