Venus Williams

Venus Ebony Starr Williams is an American professional tennis player born on June 17, 1980. She has achieved great success in her career, reaching the world No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles. Williams has won seven Grand Slam singles titles, including five at Wimbledon and two at the US Open. She is known for her powerful and aggressive playing style. Alongside her sister Serena, Venus was coached by her parents and turned professional in 1994. She became the first African American woman to reach the world No. 1 ranking in the Open era and has been recognized as one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
